History
Helping Hand Movers was started in 2016 in Brookings SD by Alex H and his recently retired mother Joan H. Realizing what a struggle it was, to move senior family members from home life to assisted living, the business was born. It has now expanded into Sioux Falls, Madison and Brookings, with a goal to provide value to customers of all ages, through quality service at an affordable price.
Meet the Business Owner
Alex H. is the Business Owner he grew up on a farm near Elkton, SD. He graduated from South Dakota State University, and worked in manufacturing for 15 years before starting Helping Hand Movers with his Mother Joan. Helping Hand Movers started as a part time business to help seniors downsize and sell their items. It has now evolved into a full service moving company.
