History:

Gouffon Moving and storage Co. was established in 1887, five generations ago, by Charles Gouffon. Since then his strong work ethic and honesty in running the business has been continued by Leon Gouffon, Joe Gouffon, Tom Gouffon, and now, Taylor Gouffon. 

Meet the Business Owner:

Tom Gouffon is the 4th, same family, generation owner of Gouffon Moving and Storage. He has worked in the family business for nearly 40 years, starting as a summer mover at the age of 14. After graduating from The University of Tennessee with a degree in Industrial Engineering, he went to work for IBM. In 1984, Tom came back to Knoxville to join the family business. He became the owner of Gouffon Moving and Storage in 1990 upon the death of his father, Joe Gouffon.
