History

Changing Spaces Moving was established in 2003, it’s a family owned business that officially started as a moving company with one truck. Scott Planson utilized the truck for six weeks and as per customer demand he required second truck. Joe Planson took partnership in 2004 to handle sales, marketing, scheduling, truck maintenance and other miscellaneous business requirements.

Meet the Owner

Joe Planson graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Joe is a mechanical engineer with 40 years of extensive experience in plant operations, maintenance, project management, and consulting and planning on a global basis. The planning, logistical project scheduling and engineering, and especially attention to detail made this transfer into the moving industry an easy one. In this business, attention to detail is everything. Joe is married to Peg Planson, who also serves as Office Manager for Changing Spaces Moving, Inc. They have two sons and three beautiful grandchildren.
